UPDATE V0.1.1


UPDATE AFTER THE JAM

Implimented feedback from the GameJam comments. Changes in Detail:

Player:

  • player speed increased
  • player jump height increased
  • player gripping edges when jumping has been improved
  • player now has respawn points after he dies and won't spawn at the start again
  • players death effect has been reworked and shortened
  • player now makes a sound after he loses health
  • players jump sound is new and pitched
  • player now emits different amounts of particles while standing, moving and jumping

Level:

  • empty uneventful spots in the level have been filled
  • memorys cristals now have ambient lights in their respective color
  • memory cristal collect sound is correctly ptiched now
  • appearance and collision box of the spike traps have been revised
  • collisionbox of the rolling balls now fits the ball
  • trap with the flying balls has been made harder by having more balls

Story Scenes:

  • intro shortened
  • intro now has a skip button (appears when the game has loaded in the background)
  • end scene is now shorter and some of the effects have been improved 

Generally:

  • changed the text style
  • inventory know has a tooltip how to clode the inventory
  • inventory sound is correctly pitched now
  • tutorial text is reworked and repositioned
  • tutorial now has more obstacles
  • background music in the game level is reworked
